2026 International Conference on Traffic Engineering and Vehicles


The 2026 International Conference on Traffic Engineering and Vehicles (TEV 2026) was successfully concluded on March 15, 2026, in Fuzhou, China. The conference was held from March 13 to 15 at the Century Jinyuan Yujing Hotel (Fuzhou University Town Branch), bringing together researchers, scholars, and industry professionals to exchange the latest advancements in traffic engineering and vehicle technologies.

The conference featured three distinguished keynote speakers. Prof. Lyuchao Liao from Fujian University of Technology, an IET Fellow and IEEE Senior Member, delivered an inspiring presentation on "Agentic Scenario Engineering for Long-tail Autonomous Driving Testing," sharing his expertise in artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and intelligent transportation systems. Prof. Hui Liu from Central South University, a Changjiang Scholar and Associate Dean of the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, presented his cutting-edge work titled "Key Technologies and Global Progress in Sensing-Fusion-Control for Intelligent Transportation Robotics," drawing from his extensive research in intelligent transportation and robotics. Prof. Jia Yao from Dalian University of Technology, Associate Director of the Institute of Smart Transportation, provided valuable insights with his speech on "A Bibliometric Analysis and Literature Review of the Traffic Paradoxes," addressing traffic network analysis, transportation system resilience, public transit, and shared mobility.

The conference was supported by the School of Transportation of Fujian University of Technology, Nanning University, and Fujian Fuyao University of Science and Technology. The organizing committee was chaired by Prof. Lyuchao Liao (Fujian University of Technology), Prof. Yi Fan (Nanning University), and Prof. Said Easa (Toronto Metropolitan University), with Prof. Yang Sun (Hebei University of Engineering), Prof. Yanzi Pang (Nanning University), and Prof. Jianqiu Chen (Nanning University) serving as Technical Program Committee Chairs.
